Why I'm a coach:
I have been working as a family nurse practitioner for decades. Seeing patients of all ages. I have specialized in working with teenagers in both the clinical setting, my neighborhood and running a teen church. I met Dr. Jennifer Jill Schwirzer when she came to my church to do an intensive weekend with the teen group at my church. That weekend she suggested I take her Mental Health Coaching course and the rest is history.
What I love most about coaching:
I enjoy helping people find their best self and achieve freedom from grief, PTSD, broken relationships, and abuse. Listening to teens who feel misunderstood, unheard, anxious or depressed and see them develop trust, hope and a better sense of self. Helping people unload their baggage, regain their self esteem, learn new coping skills, and find Jesus in the process, what could be better!
I recharge on my day off by:
I enjoy reading, drawing, playing my cello, playing tennis and sailing. Spending time walking along the ocean while talking to Jesus (my best friend) recenters me.
My three favorite things:
God
My family and friends
My mini poodle Sydney
