Why I'm a coach:
I have walked through my own hard seasons of life, and understand the value of someone walking beside us during those tough times. After years of serving in missions, and living in various parts of the world, I saw that there was a universal need for more Christ-centered, trauma informed care. That is what led me into counseling and coaching.
I chose to go into the field of coaching and Christian counseling because I know first hand the value of it when you feel stuck on your next steps. I love that coaching focuses on forward momentum and celebrating a person's victories. I am particularly passionate about helping women who find themselves in potentially destructive marriages or relationships.
What I love most about coaching:
I love helping women move towards their goals and out of feeling overwhelmed. Watching God transform lives and getting to be a small part of that work is humbling. It's always an honor when someone invites you into their life to be a part of their journey. And I especially love celebrating the small and big wins with my clients. Every "ah ha" moment is special and exciting.
I recharge on my day off by:
I enjoy walking, hiking, spending time in nature, and on the rare occasion I get to do so, I love to cozy up with a good book. I also love to write, and have four books in progress...writing is soul care for me, I find it refreshing and restorative.
My three favorite things:
Spending time with my heavenly Father.
Spending time with my family.
Being out in nature--I especially love flowers and plants.
