Why I'm a coach:
My own personal journey of healing from ACE (Adverse Childhood Trauma), abuses, and finding tools for processing and healing, lead me to desire to help others. For the last 20 or so years, I have facilitated Abuse recovery groups, journey groups, and done one-on-one coaching. I have also enjoyed serving along side my husband in pastoral and cross cultural ministry.
Grief (which doesn't only center around death) is one of the most common experiences, yet the least acknowledged or discussed. The pandemic proved this and thus, a window of need for people to process change and loss became very visible on a larger scale. This propelled me even further into wanting to share practical tools for processing changes that produce challenges in life. Creating a space where people can be coached, individually and in groups, moving from simply coping into healing on purpose has been and still is my passion.
What I love most about coaching:
Seeing the lights turn back on in a persons heart (mind), when they have the support, freedom, tools and safe space to do the work of healing.
I recharge on my day off by:
Writing, reading, spending time with my family, crafting, home projects or going to the beach.
My three favorite things:
Learning new things
My family
Butter Pecan Ice cream
