Why I'm a coach:

My own journey of faith and mental healing led me to embrace counseling and coaching as a ministry. By working through my own challenges I gained a better understanding and perspective needed to help others address their own difficult and often confusing experiences. Even more, discovering the Abide Network and their Christ-centered approach to mental health solidified my decision to pursue mental health coaching.

What I love most about coaching:

Helping people comprehend mental health and learn new coping strategies to apply in their healing journey. While many people tend to initiate the healing process long before seeking help, they often encounter obstacles that require guidance and support which is where coaches step in and assist. The true advantage of coaching for me lies in the positive and spiritual transformations individuals achieve, enabling them to overcome and embrace a future of hope and purpose.

I recharge on my day off by:

Implementing self-care by doing my best to practice what I teach is a great way for me to stay grounded and effective. I engage in activities like prayer journaling, reading, listening to sermons or music, helping with radio programming, running, exercising, baking/cooking, gardening, doing bible studies in small groups, spending time with family, friends, and traveling when possible which all contribute to a balanced and fulfilling life for me.

My three favorite things:

My bible and journal.

My dog and walks.

Good food and exercise.
